Recreational Dance Program
Our Recreational Dance Program offers several different classes and instructors to suit your needs and enhance your skills. To become a "Heartbeat" click on the class of your choice and Register! To view our weekly schedule click on the button below. Most classes welcome Drop In students and accept Punch Cards. Please see our front desk for assistance with these items and to learn more about our Investment Options click on the button below.
JAZZ TECHNIQUE
Tuesday at 7pm
Friday at 6pm
Students will learn proper Technique for Turns, Leaps and Tricks. Competition Team Members required to take this class or Turns & Tech Express. This class does not perform in the Annual Recital "ConfiDance". Competition Team Member Access Granted. Drop Ins Welcome.
WEEKEND CLASSES
CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Saturday at 9:00am & 10:00am
Beginner Class for Students New to Dance. Teaches students basic instruction in all genres of dance including, hip hop, ballet, jazz, contemporary, tumbling during 45 minute session. Emphasizes on building character and making new friends. Class will participate in Annual Showcase in December 2018. Class will also be required to purchase Costume for Annual Showcase. All Students participating in this class must be registered students of Aurora Monroe School of Dance.
BEGINNING HEELS
Saturday ATÂ 1:00pm
Heels Class is a great class to try something new and be comfortable being you. Jazz moves will be taught wearing heels. Fused together with some ballet and hip hop, jazz funk moves, get a workout and feel great. Students must be at least 14 years of age to participate in this class. This class will perform at our Annual Showcase in December 2018 To perform you must be registered by 10/1/18. Drop Ins Welcome. No Competition Team Member Access.
BEGINNING PRAISE DANCE
Sunday at 1:00pm & 2:00pm
Praise Dance and Lethargic Dance style, all ages welcome. Students will dance to Gospel and Praise Music. Students will participate in Annual Showcase in December 2018. All Students Participating in our Annual Christmas  Showcase must be Registered students at Aurora Monroe School Of Dance and will be required to purchase a costume for this class. Drop Ins Welcome. Drop In students not required to participate in Annual Christmas Showcase.
