This Dance Program is designed especially for our boy dancers of all ages.(We do not discriminate against anyone, these are only suggested classes not requirements.)

CLASSES

CREATIVE MOVEMENT

Saturday at 10:00am & 11:00am

Beginner Class for Students New to Dance. Teaches students basic instruction in all genres of dance including, hip hop, ballet, jazz, contemporary, tumbling during 45 minute session. Emphasizes on building character and making new friends. Class will participate in Annual Showcase in December 2018. Class will also be required to purchase Costume for Annual Showcase. All Students participating in this class must be registered students of Aurora Monroe School of Dance.

BEGINNING JAZZ

Tuesday at 6:00pm

Students will learn Beginning Jazz techniques and Vocabulary. Short Combinations, Sequences, Choreography, and various tricks will be introduced. Students will also be taught a new skill each week to promote Rythym and Coordination. Introduction to Isolation and body control. Students will participate in our Annual Christmas Showcase in December 2018. Students must be registered by 10/1/2018 in order to participate in our Annual Christmas Showcase, costumes will be required to purchase. Drop Ins welcome. Drop Ins not required to participate in Annual Showcase.

BEGINNING TUMBLING

Monday at 4:45pm

Beginning Tumbling helps students gain an understanding of Tumbling. Students must be able to listen and follow directions properly. Students will learn Cartwheel Round-off, Bridge, Walking Bridge, Handstand, One Handed Cartwheel, Summersault. This Class will not participate in the Annual Showcase. Competition Team Member Access Granted. Drop Ins Welcome.

INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING

Tuesday at 8:00pm

Students must have all skills in Tumbling I mastered. Students will learn more advanced Tumbling techniques. Multiple Cartwheels, Back Walkover, Front Walkover, Back Handspring, Aerial, Pop-up Handstand, Webster Front Flip. This Class will not participate in the Annual Showcase. Competition Team Member Access Granted. Drop Ins Welcome.

ALL BOYS HIP HOP

Saturday @ 12:00pm

Same Essentials of our regular Hip Hop classes, just for boys! Students will learn basic Hip Hop techniques used in street and theater Hip Hop. Grooves, Short Combinations, New Dance Crazes will be taught each week. Introduction to Isolation and body control. Students will participate in our Annual Christmas Showcase in December 2018. Students must be registered by 10/1/2018 in order to participate and costumes will be required for purchase. Drop Ins welcome. Drop Ins not required to participate in our Annual Christmas Showcase.

BEGINNING HIP HOP

Thursday at 6:00pm

Students will learn basic Hip Hop techniques used in street and theater Hip Hop. Grooves, Short Combinations, New Dance Crazes will be taught each week. Students will also be taught a new skill each week to promote Rythym and Coordination. Introduction to Isolation and body control. Students will participate in Annual Showcase in December 2018. Students must be registered by 10/1/2018 in order to participate and costumes will be required for purchase. Drop Ins welcome. Drop Ins not required to participate in Annual Showcase.

INTERMEDIATE HIP HOP

Monday at 6:00PM

Students must have taken Hip Hop I for 1 year, Or be evaluated by the instructor prior to enrolling in this class. Students will learn intermediate Hip Hop techniques used in street and theater Hip Hop. Grooves, Short Combinations, Complex Dance techniques. Hip Hop II focuses more on feet work and more intricate movements. Students will perfect hip hop skills while learning new skills each week to promote and master Isolation and body control.

ADVANCED HIP HOP

Monday at 8:00pm
Wednesday at 8:00pm

Advanced Class for students training in Hip Hop Dance looking for a Drop In or just trying to improve their Technique. Class will include stretch and choreography combos. Class will be filmed and promoted on Instagram and our Website. Students will have an opportunity to Perform in our Annual Showcase in December 2018. Must be Registered By 10/01/2018. Drop In Students Not Required to Participate in Annual Showcase.
